Sean wanted plain pancakes, but I wasn't about to let that happen. I made a batch of chocolate chip pancakes for him, and then added banana to mine!
Man....mushed banana is so hideous. But delicious! Just add mushed banana (more than one, in my opinion; the banana taste was way too subtle) and stir it in with the rest of the batter.

Here's a list of what you'll need:
TOOLS:
- plastic wrap OR foil
- wooden skewer OR popscicle stick
- knife, spoon, small mixing bow, and scissors
- freezer
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 large banana, very ripe
- 1/4 C extra virgin coconut oil
- 1/4 C raw cacao
- 1 to 2 Tbs coconut sugar AND/OR agave nectar
- peppermint OR vanilla extract (preferably alcohol free), few drops to taste
- 1.5 Tbs raw walnut pieces
There you go! This treat may look "naughty" (HAH!), but it isn't! It's full of essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and heart-healthy fatty acids :-) So enjoy - and thanks for watching!!!
